Worldwide Distributor and manufacturer of Irrigation equipment with 60 years of experience in the Irrigation industry located in Hastings, Nebraska.

Operates, or tends lathe and milling machines to turn, bore, thread, form, or face metal or plastic materials, such as wire, rod, or bar stock.

Ability to read process sheets, blueprints, and sketches of part to determine machining to be done, dimensional specifications, up, and operating requirements.

Must be able to lift 50 to 100 pounds occasionally, and/or 25 to 50 pounds frequently and/or 10 to 20 pounds constantly.

Pay rate negotiable based upon experience.

District Sales Manager (Northeast Region)
Worldwide Distributor and Manufacturer of Irrigation Equipment with 65 years in the Irrigation industry headquartered in Hastings, Nebraska.

T-L Irrigation Co. is looking for a motivated sales professional to join their sales team.

Job Summary: Effect the sales of T-L products through appointed dealers within an assigned geographical territory. Assure the recruitment and development of effective dealers by assisting them in their sales efforts through training, solving customer problems, and consistent communication.

Education and Experience: A.D. or B.A. in business, or agriculturally related subjects. Equivalent experience (five or more years) in farming or other agriculturally oriented businesses.

Responsibilities:

  • Locate, evaluate, and appoint dealers for T-L Irrigation products. Assure that all necessary documents are completed properly and within 30 days of signature.
  • Maintain consistent communication with dealers by phone or personal visit at least once per month.
  • Assure customer satisfaction through dealer training, solving customer problems, and timely communication with Company management.
  • Assure that pivot systems are properly designed, installed and the customers satisfied.
  • Demonstrate competence in the operation of the Sales & Design and Company designated Field Design programs.
  • Demonstrate competence in the operation of Outlook, Word, Excel, and other Microsoft programs and designated by management.
  • Demonstrate acceptable product, operating and troubleshooting knowledge.
  • Maintain constant awareness of competitive product or selling strategy changes, reporting their actions immediately to the U.S. Sales Manager.
  • Assist with or conduct product shows or special marketing events involving T-L participation according to management direction.
  • Attend and participate in dealer or Company sales meetings as directed by Company management.
  • Submit call reports and itineraries to the U.S. Sales Manager no later than the following Tuesday of the week traveled.
  • Travel and other related expenses will be controlled to the satisfaction of sales management. Expense reports are due within ten working days after the end of each month.
  • Company vehicles and all other equipment assigned to Representatives by the Company must be maintained in good mechanical condition at all times. Automobiles must be kept presentable and the Company sign displayed on both front doors.

Maintenance Technician

Worldwide Distributor and Manufacturer of Irrigation equipment, with 65 years of experience in the irrigation industry location in Hastings, Nebraska.

Ability to troubleshoot and repair Welding and Fabrication equipment such as shears, press breaks and decoilers.

Perform preventative and routine maintenance on plant equipment including crane hoists, tube mills, HVAC systems, and compressors. Install and repair light fixtures.

T-L will provide additional training where needed.

Welder

Production facility that assembles and welds steel frames and other component parts of machinery and equipment in preparation for final welding: Measures and marks locations for metal components on assembly table, following blueprints.

Must be able to lift in excess of 50 to 100 pounds occasionally, and/or 25 to 50 pounds frequently and/or 10 to 20 pounds constantly. Must have welding experience.

Electronics Engineer

T-L Irrigation Co. is looking for an electronics engineer to join their engineering team.

Job summary:

Join our team and help feed the world as you work with embedded circuit firmware and hardware for our irrigation systems. This challenging position will offer you the chance to follow through the design from concept to prototype to production as you implement new control technologies.

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in EE, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field or related experience (graduating seniors welcome to apply).
  • Solid background in electronics and embedded controls.
  • Ability to work on multiple projects.
  • Highly motivated individual with innovative ideas.

Responsibilities:

  • Specification, design and testing of new and existing control products used on our mechanized irrigation systems.
  • Embedded C language firmware development and integration with microcontrollers for electro-hydraulic systems.
  • Integration of embedded circuit boards with state-of-the-art technologies including HMI’s, wireless communication, and IoT.
  • Collaboration with existing vendors for control integration and manufacture of embedded control products.
  • Travel may be required, including international travel.

Field Service Technician

Galvanizing Material Handler

Worldwide Distributor and manufacturer of Irrigation equipment with 65 years of experience in the Irrigation industry located in Hastings, Nebraska.

Material Handlers are needed in our Galvanizing facility. Duties will include lifting and hanging/attaching steel parts that are ready to be galvanized, then removing and stacking parts after the galvanizing process is complete.

This is considered Heavy Work – exerting 50 to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 25 to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or 10 to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects.

Multiple shifts available:

  • 4:00 am – 1:00 pm
  • 7:30 am – 4:30 pm
  • 1:00 pm – 10:00 pm
  • 4:30 pm – 1:30 am
