Introduces Patented PMDI Technology
Center Pivot Irrigation will now deliver new water saving methods with the patented PMDI technology only available from your T-L Irrigation dealer. The T-L PMDI technology, available on any model of center pivot and linear move systems, features unique drip hose with emitters every 12" , spaced every 30, 40, or 60 inches depending on the soil type.
PMDI stands for Precision Mobile Drip Irrigation. This technology was developed by T-L Irrigation Co. to benefit from the efficiency of drip while utilizing pivot system mobility. The results have combined "drip" methods with "pivot irrigation" methods. With the PMDI technology, you receive 95% water application, elimination of wind drift and evaporation, installation of PMDI is a fraction of the cost of sub surface drip systems, you gain center pivot flexibility and best of all you will deliver the most even water pattern/application available. Dave Thom, Vice President of sales states that PMDI has showed a significant savings in water over more typical sprinkler packages. Another great side benefit is dry wheel tracks. PMDI has been tested on most of our traditional crops like corn, alfalfa, soybeans and milo and have all shown good response to PMDI.
